PWL

Modern Water subsidiary Poseidon Water Limited (PWL) uses a patented wastewater treatment system based on seawater substitution. 

The technology allows seawater to be used for toilet flushing by treating the resulting effluent to European discharge standards, thereby reducing the domestic requirement for fresh water by up to 30%. 

Field tests of the technology have been successfully completed and design work has been finalised.  Commercial opportunities are currently being considered.
