Change of Company Secretary

Modern Water plc (LSE: MWG) announces today the appointment of Francis O’Neill as General Counsel and Company Secretary.

Mr O’Neill joins from The Linde Group (formerly The BOC Group) where he has held a number of positions over the past 18 years including General Counsel – Asia Pacific based in Sydney, and General Counsel – Legal Operations for the UK.

Commenting on the new appointment, Executive Chairman Neil McDougall said: “It is with great pleasure that I welcome Francis to the Modern Water team. He joins at a key stage in the growth of Modern Water as we look to add to our portfolio of water-related technologies and seek new commercialisation opportunities for our existing IP.

“I would also like to thank Angela Leach for her hard work in taking Modern Water through the IPO process and wish her continued success in her ongoing role as company secretary for IP Group.”
