Modern water supports local art students

Modern Water has developed an ongoing partnership with the University for the Creative Arts in nearby Farnham to exhibit artwork produced by their students.

Modern Water’s light and airy head office has been transformed with the addition of the paintings and photography created by the talented artists at UCA Farnham. The arrangement offers students at all levels a fantastic opportunity to display their work.

The exhibition is ongoing and pieces are subject to change.  Staff, clients, suppliers and visitors to the offices are welcome to view the art, and every item is available to buy.

Alice More O’Ferrall, Marketing Manager, commented: “I am thrilled at the success of this project.  Admittedly, it is an unusual concept for a commercial business to display art from local students. However, the result is fantastic as it gives the students an opportunity to display their work outside of the university, and offers both employees and visitors to Modern Water the chance to view, appreciate and ultimately purchase any of the artwork, should they choose to.”

Paul Vivian from UCA Farnham, said: “We are delighted that Modern Water has made a commitment to the university in this way.  Linking with a publically listed company to exhibit their art offers our students the opportunity to think about the commercial side of their creative output.  For them to see their work displayed in this way is hugely encouraging and we look forward to continuing this partnership for the foreseeable future.”
